Olivia Okeke, worked at Cactus as an intern right after her bachelors in economics from the University of Lagos. She later gained admission to study baking and pastry at Le Cordon Blue Los Angeles in 2012 .
While in school she interned at Providence Restaurant LA and also worked with Wolfgang Puck Catering under the culinary staffing company. After school she got employed as a pastry cook at Providence Restaurant LA and later moved on to be part of the opening of it’s sister company Connie and Ted’s in West Hollywood.
She has also staged at the Heirloom catering company, Wally’s Beverly Hills and Nine Ten Restaurant and La Jolla. Presently she is the owner and caketress at Livvy’s Twist Cake Company in Lagos where she creates stunning, clean and simple cake designs along side simple gourmet treats.
